H&F Jewellery had already grown substantially within the last year of working with our team, but after analyzing our monthly report social media KPIs, our team had to develop a new approach to gain other brand attributes to convert sales with more customer confidence before the first point of contact.

When advertising, the brand’s overall engagement and conversions were signally that they were low compared to the reach audience we were receiving. From review customer inquiries and interviewing employees for client experiences, there were still skepticism for first time buyers, unable to grab initial buyer’s confidence before interaction. 

Insight

While doing our competitor analysis, we noticed that not enough people were providing value-added approach digital content. We wanted to test a new concept video, where we take a raw authentic approach and bring the audience closer to the people who are behind the brand. 

Solution

Our previous social content was focused on professionalism, high quality luxury and premium aesthetics, making sure that each diamond sparkled and each piece shined the best for each post. 

To continue the social media sale growth and improve buyer’s confidence, we needed to improve the pages authenticity by bring a more human approach to our content. This way the brand’s customer experience is closer to the audience, as the viewers would be able to get a sample of how the customer experience would be in they were to shop in the store. 

The Solution

Genuine Value-adding Content Approach

H&F Jewellery videos went from stylish high quality content shot with only our best camera equipment, to a new hybrid model, where we incorporated an A-roll clip with a staff from H&F Jewellery narrating the video content. We developed content not focused not on the products shown, but on value we can provide to our viewers through the narration and advice from an experienced staff. This gave the audience a sense of connection with the staff, and being able to receive free content, with an approach to help educate potential customers out of goodness of the brand, we’re able to gain the trust of our viewers and confidence to purchase jewellery not only from the staff member, but from the brand itself. With the continuous implementation of these videos, we’re able to establish a certain connection from the viewers that brand will not be able to achieve with traditional marketing approaches. We create consistent monthly sales inquires that also bonded stronger relationships for returning customers.

Haven Plant Based Eatery – 2020

Summary

Following the successful launch of the new vegan restaurant Haven Plant Based Eatery, they needed to reach a new audience to expand their customer base.

Since COVID was still relevant, the beloved asian night market festival was cancelled for 2 years in a row. People were dying to get a taste of what life was like before. Following this unfortunate news of the festival closure, Michael Lee coordinated with the kitchen to develop a dish that would have been launched at this festival if the restaurant were to attend. Haven decided to introduce “Night Market Chik’n Nuggets” to the menu, a dish that makes you say their slogan “Seriously… It’s Not Meat”

Haven not only wanted to reach a new audience, they also wanted to work towards a larger goal – drive more returning in-store sales with their new Night Market “Chik’n Nuggets.” How can we drive more in-store sales while also grabbing the audience that missed out on the asian night market festival?

Insight

During the summer, we noticed an influx of human street traffic in front of the restaurant. We wanted to take advantage of this opportunity by captivating the passing customers with our new Chik’n Nuggets. 

Solution

Content production

Using long exposure and other lighting technics, Michael Lee photographed and designed ads for social media to replicate the fun neon colours seen at the night market festival.

These photos were used for social media ads, signage and print coupons.

Marketing materials

We wanted to make sure street visibility is the best it can be while still following the local laws on street advertisement. Along with the launch of the Night Market Chik’n Nuggets, we designed and printed outdoor signage, stickers and coupons for the launch day.

For 2 weeks, we had our staff rotate shifts on helping handing out samples outside of Haven of the Night Market Chik’n Nuggets. Along with the free sample, we also provided a coupon for a free order of Chik’n Nuggets with any combo to entice our newly captured audience to return for a full meal.
